This may seem like a "no brainer", but I'd like some input for filler metal selections for the following metal combinations.
type 309S to 309S
type 310S to 309S
My first inclination is to use 310 or 310S for both applications.
Please advise, or point me to any reference.
Thanks

309S is only slightly lower in Carbon than 309 but is the same as E309L or ER309L.
You can use the 309L for both with out any problems
E310 and ER310 allow a range of Carbon that covers 310 and 310S.
