Lincoln Classic 1 welding machine for sale. With 200' welding leads, 100' ground leads and remote.Have 887 hrs. running time on it. Change oil every 50 hrs. Hardly used. Also have tool boxes with all hand tools and pipe jacks and 2"to 4" and 6" to 8" beveling machine for sale.

Whats your asking price if u were to add the beveler
kind of new in the welding field but would like to know the going on said set up live here in texas and as a single hand cant get much close to home but cant afford to go anywere on single hand wages so looking to have a set ready to work a site after buying

well I have got power out of the receptical with the new electronic idler system now, but nothing coming out of the leads (no arc). Anyone have an idea to what could be wrong now.

if it like my board theres a wire that runs from the plug to the front of the exciter on my 54 its on the right hand side on the top of the brush ifit aint hooked up or its broken it wont spark or nuthing use the diagram i sent ya

Is this with the armature that smoked, or have You put in another one? The power at the recepticle shows that the exciter is working.

same arm.. I had purchased this arm. from a guy in mishigan, should I have the arm. recharged? I did not run the machine very long under the condition.

if rats got in the housing and ate the wiring it will idle up when u trip the grinder but still wont weld that 1 wire is what causes it its happened to me also does the machine have a remote switch on it if it is then on position and the remote is not plugged in it wont weld

Tom, what can happen to an armature when it gets too hot is the insulation on the windings can decompose, and they can make contact where they shouldn't. This isn't real easy to test Yourself. Hope for the best, and check the wire the other fellow is talking about, it is the one that supplies the field current to the pole pieces in the stator. Without power to the stator poles You will have no weld output.
