Dear associate,
I have some copper tubes (UNS C70600 90%Cu, 10%Ni) the butt weld joint is pressure retaining weld and should be welded by GTAW or GMAW. Could someone advise me that I have to use ceramic backing or consumable insert for internal backing of pipe or not?
