I have a 1967 redface. I have had it factory set by a lincoln dealer and on beads my rods fingernail and have a bad tendency to stick and also have a hard to time getting started. I can run my other redface or anothers machine and i have no problems. One welder told me my rods maybe bad or its just me but i can take another machine and same rods and run a bead fine- 5p+. Could the ocv's be to low. Its set to what it is supposed to be. 1550 rpm no load. What can i try. I dont wont to jack with the governor cause its hard to get it right.

Man i dont know. It could be. I dont know what else to try. Put new brushes in it and made sure they were seated good no arching on them and still same thing.

Does the engine respond properly when the throttle dumps open as You try to start the arc?
