How many problems occured if used building steel material and G.I flat insted of proper work return cable.
Details of welding cable connection system in between work and welding machine.
Which safety should be taken in welding oparetion.

You might get more response in the "General" or "Technical" sections. There will most likely be greater voltage drop if You dont run a properly sized ground cable to the work near the weld. There is a greater chance of having magnetic arc blow. There is a greater chance of stray currents damaging equipment or people from electricity traveling where You don't want or expect it.
