Hello Root Pass, personally if I had a Lincoln welder with a Perkins diesel in it I wouldn't trade it out for the Yanmar conversion. On the other hand if I had a gas version I would consider this as an option depending on price and availability of parts. Just my $.02 Best regards, aevald

Yanmar makes the entire tractor for John Dere in the smaller sizes, The parts for that engine may be available from John Dere dealers if it is the same as on one of the tractors.
