Hi everyone!

I am new to this brazing topic and recently came across information that mickle is used as a filler for certain vacuum brazing applications (H13 steel or similar).

Google yielded no useful information so I wanted to check with pros on this forum if there anyone can point me in the right direction.

Much obliged,
Aloha

There is an awful lot of imprecise language in brazing.   Mickle could be a Manganese Nickel alloy.

Found one reference in a Materials Handbook.

It looks like it is Haynes Hastelloy D-205.

You could use it.  Maybe find a good vacuum brazer first and ask them.  We wreally like to be invited in from the start of a project if vacuum brazing is involved.  We don't chrge if we get to bid and that seems to be common.
