darin just imagine a 200 about 6-8" lower i personnally dont like the way they look and you could only imagine the ways i've seen guys have these machines cooling and none of them work except to cut out the batt box and keep the same radiator i've seen them with electric fans 1 inside and 1 out and it still ran hot whats wrong with leaving things the way they are if it aint broke dont fix it.        What do you have door wise for a short hood i need a set for my 53 it's getting upgraded this week and then off to paint. after that i'll have a redface for sale maybe my plans are to get the shotry up and looking good then sell my redface and get a 305G but older machines are getting thin and hard to find

I've got to disagree with that, there are a lot of chopped machines out there working just fine.
Some people have a nice 4 core radiator made to fit the space, some people use a large motorcycle battery and some people mount the battery outside of the machine in a plastic marine battery box hidden from view.

yes, i do need to know if you have a large or small mouth gas tank.Holes are in the sheetmetal including lifting eye slot

shad, i have sold 12 sets of doors and hoods. NO ONE has called me otherwise. i DO need to know what year your machine is to guarantee fit. redface machines  are different than the later black face machines. Stillwater steel in stillwater oklahoma tried 3times to fit  a hood to a machine of a friend of mine. my hood fit perfect the 1st time. the only reason that a hood and doors wouldnt fit is if the machine has been modified or wrecked. No red flag here shad!

they're for my 53 shorty i've heard the machine is needed to get an excat fit. do the doors have the latches on them or jus slotted for the latches. my hood has small fuel tank opening and the standard exhaust pipr what is it 1 1/2'' or 2'' no bigger than 2 actually it has a glass pack muffler in it but some 1 put it on the hood has been cut with a torch to install it. how much is the shipping
