this welder i just bought has got the old twist lock plug for running grinders off of  where do i get a regular plug that will fit in there  or what do i do so i can run a grinder off it

A full service electrical supply house should have a regular outlet to fit in that hole, or You could put a twist lock plug on the end of an extension cord and leave the outlet alone.

ive actually never seen a twist lock except when i did a job for disney in california. all the union crews out there used them  but never even seen one on a site here in texas  can you get the plug at home depot

Home Depot has the single round standard recepts for 2.99, Leviton 5801.
