To those who i have offended by buying and selling lincoln sa 200 machines, im sorry. Not all welders have the time to go scour the United States to find a good running SA 200. I know alot of you are looking for a good "rebuilder" or just a great backup machine. I enjoy the hunt for these machines and love the friendships that i have made by selling to my customers. I know i cant please everyone in here, but strive to backup what i sell. I have sold over 50 machines since january and havent had one returned because of "misrepresenting" the machine. I hope i can someday sell you one!
This post, is the product of a message i got from a AWS member saying that all I sell is "junk". I think NOT!!!!
Damn bud that sucks, who did you piss off.
Not to sound like I'm sticking up for any1 but he did agree to buy it did he not. I mean used is used as is no garuntees expressed or inclined. You cant garuntee something you didnt build or work on yourself.
the comment came from Kelly_B.
I havent even chatted with him in regards to a machine...he said the last pics i posted of a welder looks like junk. I guess he doesnt realize that i find find a machine in an old barn or find a guy that is retiring and buy the machine as is. i offer the machine for sale to make a buck or two. im not fixin alot of these up.....just selling them to let the next guy fix them up.
yeah i know and the comment he made was the last machine he saw might as well of been scrap metal i dont think he was referring to 1 of your machines i havent seen any pics of yours that looked to be to terribly bad to me but i am a different person than him i like fixing the old beaters and making them look new just dont have time for it anymore
the pictures of that machine didnt look bad at all. maybe its because you didnt wax it up before you took the pic! lol
As far as I know there are no restrictions to what you are doing. If he had purchased something and you two had an issue that would be one thing. But a response by a smiple minded contributer requires little more than a response on the thread, and forget it.
whats so wierd, i have never even chatted with the guy! dont even know him....oh welll. one in every bunch
Yea,i quess he thinks everybody wants his opinion .
ok,,,,,its over. i had to vent a little bit...thanks for your support. darin
Give the guy a break. He probably sobered up by now. :)
Shorthood: You are what is known as a "finder". You can probably sniff arround a barn and know there is a machine inside, or drive past a thicket and tell there is a machine in the middle of it. Not everybody has the time or the inclination to seek out these machines, but You do. I don't see anything wrong with it.
i totally agree there are alot of us trying to break out and still holding down full time jobs we just dont have the time to hunt darin finds these old lost forgott3en machines and puts them back in the hands of sdomeone that will put them to good use instead of rusting away in some barn kinda like that old saying one mans trash is another mans treasure maybe that guy just doesnt have love for the classics
i need to change my screen name to "sanford and sons"....dang it LAMONT!
hell yeah sanford and son I like that LOL just joking
