Wyoming sounds good! I'm from northern Michigan but in Arkansas now. Whats the pay like and what kind of work? Got any numbers?  Thanx for the info guys.

Email me, I know of one company in Rock Springs, last year they were paying $65 and paid weekly. I thought that beat the heck out of hustling up your own work and 60 - 120 days waiting for the Patch to decide when to pay ya. Wamsutter ( I-80 mid state ) is going strong also. Coal bed methane is still going fairly good up in Gillette if you want milder weather than the hi-dessert of the south. If you decide to come to Wyoming, better drag your own motel along. Lucky enough to find one, you'll pay 4-star prices for a dive I wouldn't let my ex-in-laws stay in. It really is that bad for lodging!

ya it aint bad were laying a 30 inch line in gillette (798), motels do suk but company reserved a bunch a rooms im paying 500 a week so not too bad
gettin 41.55 15 72.50 they supply everything but fuel there are some non uniun contractors laying a 24 inch line up here supose to be atleast 3 yrs of work up here

Hey Sully i heard tell that H&P was paying 100 an hr in Colo. do you know anything about this. And your 55 an hr deal is there any perdium also what hours are you working i think i've just about worked myself out of a job again but it aint worth it for me to go that far for 55 with no perdium. have ya heard of anything else. I knoe i come to you for alot of stuff sorry but you seem to know about alot of the work and the areas

what are u working on. What do you work on most of the time in that area. What can of pay can a man get with welding rig truck and insurance,worker comp. I got 2005 Ford 550 with miller big blue 402 set up to mig,tig alum. mig, arc gouging with air compressor on truck. I am just trying too compare prices were yall are at to were I am at here in GA. Around here we got cheap contractor. To work on bridges,heavy equip. little pipe work, saw mills, rock quarry, asplalt plants about all we can get is between 55 to 65 an hr. And we furnest everything but the steel we are welding.
