what we do is get some fairly stout casters and weld them onto a plate, then mount the feeder to the plate. the overall height that you want will determine the caster size to get. (be sure to use pivoting casters on all four corners, the ones that don't pivot make it real easy to tip over your feeder and the next thing you know is the plastic spool breaks and you have one heck of a wire mess).

I was thinking more along the lines of an 6"-8" wheel in back with casters in front, I have pictured in my head what i have seen in alot of shops and its like an axle thru the back with casters in front but i cannot find any pics and i have the big wigs up front convinced it would be benificial to move the feeder instead of the whole damn welder around the shop!
I have tried Lincoln, miller, Ebay and a few other places and cant seem to find any pictured!
We also dont use plastic we use the metal ones for holding 50 lb spools. and if your back wheels are wider than the feeder and have a low profile they wont tip over.

Hello Carl, some of the older Lincoln LN 7's and 9's used carts similar to that and they also had provisions for using the 60# spools. I don't know right off the bat where you could find some pictures of these though. Regards, Allan

Hi Allen,
I think thats exactly what i'm looking for! although I have also seen them for Millers and a little more updated, might just have to make 1 and do the dog & pony show for it.
would be alot cheaper anyways than buying them!
