Can anyone suggest a good pair of cold weather work gloves?  As you can imagine, in the Okanagan Valley, there isn't really a need for them!  :)

For welding when its cold , I use a pair of large welding gloves and the helly hanson glove liners. They sell them at Marks work wearhouse or work world around here. I like them because you can pull your hand out of the welding glove and the liner glove will stay on your hand  to still keep your hand warm and allow some dexterity for marking with chalk or other tasks. When it really gets cold  ( -25 or more ) I go to  the two finger welding gloves.

I bought a pair of leather thinsulate gloves from costco, they have been great.  My hands stay nice and warm, and the leather is comparible to gander-brand.

Nah, still in Kelowna.  I'm weighing my options, but I'm getting gear as I can afford it.

When needed Mat I use a pair of three finger welding gloves with a wool insert they are the best. If a guy shops around you can sometimes find them with a sheeps skin on the back of the left hand to wipe the snote off your nose, which is a nice feature when it's -40f.

mat , i try not to be out if possible but usually just use dry monkey face , they  burn easily then just throw away , also i keep a good pair of wood chopper mitts . they work . if doing code work has to be heated , so able to stay warm around weld area and use regular welding gloves that don't fit too tight but still wear bunny boots to keep my feet from freezing . good luck try to stay warm . willie
