Wow, those are some fun links.
The aircraft engine test one is really amazing, where do you find videos like that???

The friction welding video was pretty cool too, ive read about it but never seen it in action before :)

Hi Plasma-Brain!!!

I search the far reaches in Cyberspace ;)

Seriously though... What I do is to use multiple tabs and search engines which results in a much more thorough search routine... I then filter out the sites which offer limited specifics on the topics I'm interested in reviewing, and sometimes I use up to three computers at the same time but, I don't always follow that method because usually I find what I'm looking for in a very short period of time relatively speaking of course!!! I also use search engines that enable me to write in the topics without all of the sophisticated logic options offered by some other engines that really limit your search to what you write in... So there you go - that's my secret ;) :) :)
