Does anyone know off hand the fan belt size or napa part # for an f-162 sa 200? The belt that's on it seems to be to big, because it's loose with alternator adjusted all the way out.

It depends on what alternator you have on it and whether or not you have an adjustable pulley on your water pump. Size is anywhere from 3/8" wide by 42 to 48.5 long or 1/2" by 46 to 49.

Its a pain in the butt. I have Gates part numbers from 7480 to 9490

the alternator will adjust on the arm off the waterpump. but it's out all the way. maybe I can take the belt to napa and just get one a little smaller so I can take up the tension on the belt. It measures @ 3/8 by 50. So a 48.5 might do it.

Yeah, I wasn't talking about the adjusting arm, I was talking about the pulley size on the alternator and the pulley size of the water pump. Most of the time the 3/8 will fit the alternator but then you have to adjust the wtaer pump pulley down from 1/2 to 3/8.
