I have to a welded ring of 2" thicknes. The question is ¿Shoul I do PT & UT? ¿Can I do only UT?

You can do both...assuming that you are reffering to butt weld-CJP.

BUT You need to know exactly what is stipulated in project specification...then the Code to use.

If you do UT prior to PT the UT couplant could prevent the Dye from entering flaws.
