Looking for a bullet style cover for the generator housing of a shorthood and a exciter cover. Both need to be damage free.

you can get a new exciter cap from lincoln painted for around 100.00 good luck on the bullet nose i have 1 left anf not selling it

sorry for not geting back to you sonner, I just got in last night. looks like the generator cover has bids on it already. I'm not going to take it off now, so it will sell to the high bider.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I am working onwinning the auction (aka Kco4cav). New from Lincoln the nose cone (part number L2594) cost is $89.72 list is $128.

Go for it raftergwelding.  I have done alot of business on ebay and have never had a problem that could not be resolved with a little communication. Seems to me just about everyone is honest with a few exceptions.  But ebay takes care of them.  If you don't already have an account on ebay, you should. There are alot of welders that don't know about AWS forum and when they need something they go to ebay. It would open a whole new door for you to sell your wares. I would suggest you open a paypal account.  It makes it alot easier to receive payments as well as to make them. Good luck!

the parts that make money on ebay have to be hard to find like bullet nose cones and exciter caps the rest are not to hard to find well doors for a shorthood or pretty much gone yes u can get them made but cant get original latches i have an ebay account have had it for years my luck at selling is not so good i listed a 162 motor and it sold for 125 which was fine with me the guy that won it was from ft worth and never paid for it i relisted it and it didnt sell so i knocked a hole in the side of it and sold it for junk i do better selling parts in the forum or by word of mouth i have built what i think is a good rep with the guys in here that have bought parts from me i dont lie or try to cheat them just be honest and sell them what they want alot of times i dont have what they want but can find it pretty quick

you just have to be a strait shooter and dont beat around the bush be honest with what you have and tell them if anything is wrong with it most times it will sell and if 1 person dont want it someone else will everything has a price be it lil or big it has a price

rounded metal ones, not the cast ones.
