i built my middle box out of 1/8 and i will probly build my lidsout of 1/8. i used 3/16 on the rest just because it dont warp as bad when you cut it with a track torch

Welderdan, I appreciate your posting those pics of your new bed, but I am at a loss to figure what you're doing. Your work looks very good and I'm sure you know what you're doing , but I'm not understanding the round wells, or the fender functions, or anything. Can you spare a moment and clue me in to how all this works? I see all kinds of things wrong with the old and usual designs, so I'm really interested in this bed and how it works. Thanks for any help.

the wells on the back are for my my leads, I will try to post some update pics tomorrow, they will make everything more clear

I'm a fan of wells for leads. Hose 'em off and lock 'em up. Simple and foolproof. Just never saw round ones before. Makes sense.

Those hinges are the best thing since cervesa aren't they? Your box tops are pretty stylish - are you going to inset some locks or put on padlocks and get on with the pipelining at hand?

i bought some weatherguard latches, maybe ill gettime to put em on this weekend, ya those greasable hinges are great
