I am currently building a welding bed, it is 7'5" wide and 9'6" long. Should I keep it 9'6" or cut it down 8'? I am going to buy a dodge 4 door and I am worried it will be to long to get into tight spots.

If your going with a 4 door 4 wheel drive. every inch in a tight spot helps. But I think It would depend more on how you have the bed setup. Don't short yourself space to begin with.

my bed is 8' on a 4 door dodge and I want to chop it every day. I would suggest not going any longer than 8'
