Up Topic Welding Industry / Welding Fundamentals / Old Miller TIG post flow timer???

Not sure if this is the right part of the forum, but here goes.

My Miller 330 A/BP (mfd. 1984) works great, except for one thing - the post-flow timer wants to stick. I've heard these things are pretty pricey ($300+), and wondered if anyone had any insight as to how to get it going again. I thought I had the problem narrowed down to one IC (the 741 OP/AMP), but changing it didn't help. The rheostat and relay seem to ohm out OK, but I haven't been able to check any of the capacitors.

Is there a newer replacement for this unit, or has somebody been able to rig one together?

I've been checking on this forum for a while, just decided to join yesterday. TONS of good info here, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have one in stock new. I'd let go for $174 (cost) List is $248. I bought it for a customer in 2003 and he flipped out on the price and junked the unit. Miller OEm part carries a  1 year warranty

Thanks for the offer and the help! I may take you up on it. I'm going to try to change the electrolytic capacitors first, since from what I've read they seem to be the main problem on these units. If that doesn't get it going, I'll check with my wife.....er...bank account and get back with you.
