IF I WANT TO USE S275JR (EN 10025) STRUCTURAL STEEL PLATE WHICH GROUP IS APPLICABLE FOR THIS IN TABLE 3.2 OF D1.1

This Material is considered unlisted material as per AWS D1.1, thus, it cannot be grouped.

The S275RJ is out of AWS group. However you can convert to AWS material equivalent which is listed in AWS D1.1 table 3.1

S275RJ is equivalent ASTM A573 Gr 65. as per AWS D1.1 table 3.1 the ASTM A573 Gr 65 belong to AWS group I.
so S275RJ belong to AWS group I.

Bka,

I always having problem to group BS steel in AWS Group according to table 3.1
Everytime i did that always commented and rejected by client.
Does this so called "equivalent" recognized by Code?
