ok-need some help guy's and gal's...i have a jeep bicycle for 9 years-it's very special to me-last year it was tig welded and turned out well-but over the years it became corrosive-on the rear end of the suspension,right where the front derailluer goes...now i dicided that brazing would be the best way to go-now how will i do this-small hole 2x2 and alittle crack beside a small hole...i'm trying to see what type of metal to use-stainless steel or aluminum to place over the hole and then brazing it together-ANYBODY YOUR HELP IS NEEDED-please read following post-I THINK I MAY JUST FILL IN THE HOLE-WILL ALUMINUM OR NICKEL BE BEST

What material is the frame made from?

How are the tube end fittingss attached?

Do You have dissimilar metals where the corosion is taking place?

If so, they are causing a galvanic cell, which greatly accelerates corosion.

Dissimilar metals need to be electricly insulated from each other, or sealed from salt water/salt air or any electrolite.
