Tryng to find a good weld tracking program to use on my lap top for field work. Need to track welds, x-ray, repairs, Tracers, & welder certs.

I have one that I made for a B31.3 job I worked on for tracking welds made by pipe spool #, Welder ID etc. No RT but it could be added. There may be a commercial package available that does this already.

If you have MS-Access and are interested, send me an e-mail and let me know what exact data you want to track . Example

Weld Data>>
WeldID
ProjectID
WelderID
Date Welded
DWG/ISO Number
SpoolNumber1
SpoolNumber2

INspectionData>>>
InspectionID
InspectionType (RT/VT/UT/PT)
Accepted (Yes/No)
TracerRequired (Yes/No)
IsTracer (Yes/No)

RepairData>>>
RepairID
InspectionID (Lookup to InspectionData InspectionID)
RepairNumber
TypeOfDefect (LOF, LOP, Crack, Slag Rounded, etc..)
RepairWelderStencil (Lookup to Welder Table)
DefectObserved (Yes/No)
RepairAccepted (Yes/No)

WelderData>>>
WelderID
WelderName
Address

WelderCertificationData
TestId
WelderId (Lookup to WelderData)
Process
BaseMetals
Base metal Thickess
etc.
etc

Spools
SpoolID
Material
Diameter
Thickness
LineNumber
Code

If you don't find what you want I can make the above but it may take awhile depending on how lazy I get. I can also make someting that doesn't require MS-Access.

There is a MS Access database I used for inspections of ductwork fabrication that is pretty good for just keeping a general record of inspections. There is also one with welder qualification tracking and pipe spool tracking. If you have MS-Access 97 or Later you can download it at http://www.weldinginspectionsvcs.com/welderqualdownlaod.htm.

Have a good day

Seems like it's what I'm looking for but I really need the RT & PT part because most of the work I'm doing now is DOT, API-1104 &API-B31.8. If you are still in IUKA let me know, I'm in Booneville.
