I need to know the best way to weld ductile cast iron to ductile cast iron.  Is there a procedure that i can find?  What welding rod, parameters, gas, etc.?

This is the place to go:

It is found on the website for the Ductile Iron Pipe Research Association.

Just a curious question. Why do you need to weld a ductile cast iron pipe to another ductile cast iron pipe?
Ductile cast iron pipes are normally joined together by the "bell and spigot" procedure.
