Need help urgently!

Hi guys,

What is the meaning of 1D , 2D , 3D , any welding position.

Does 1D, 2D , 3D refer to the geometry of the welding material ? is there any define standard for 1D , 2D , 3D ( for welding )

i am unable to get a clear define using internet search... is there any keyword that i can try to refine my search. actually i am not sure what
does 1D 2D 3D really means therefore seeking help here!

Why do you need to post in several areas?

1D, 2D, 3D are not welding positions in any code I'm familiar with. Are you sure you have correct info?

eventually you're unwantedly confusing something here; i.e. US- and European/ISO codes?

You've asked us the meaning of 1D , 2D , 3D , any welding position.  Exactly where are you getting these abbreviations from? Are you seeing them in a job specification, contract documents, etc.?
