Input on multi-purpose machines?

Hey all,

I was wondering what people thought of multi-purpose machines? I was looking at buying a MIG to use at home to build furniture and sculptures. I have access to a 220v MIG at work, but would like to work at home, and have something portable. I've heard mixed reviews about the quality of welds they put out. Lincoln just came out with the Power MIG 210 MP, I'm really tempted to buy it, it's a great price and does a lot, but it seems too good to be true... Has anyone used this new Lincoln? Help!

The machine you mentioned is pretty solid.

Very versatile and will do decent SMAW and very good DC GTAW.

It can do aluminum GMAW as well... Most people are surprised just how good it is at that.
