Hello Everyone;

Well, we've lived through another year. A little worn and torn, but we made it through never the less.

We've lost a few good friends along the way. It is always sad to have a friend pass away, but that's life, we all have to go sometime. We just hope our time is some time in the future. We were lucky enough to know them while they were here. We would not have met them if they were not willing to freely share their knowledge with others. I. for one, am glad to have met them and shared time with them.

To all my friends that frequent this site, thanks for sharing your time, thoughts, and knowledge, I wish you all a Happy New Year.

Best regards - Al

Happy New Year from me as well. I am new to this forum but not to welding forums in general. I see a lot of knowledge and friendship here from my perspective. May your arcs be strong in 2015!

Haven't posted here lately. Been busier than a one legged man trying to Texas 2 step. Getting settled in on a new gig.
Wish everyone a prosperous and happy new year.
For all you stuck in the deep freeze of winter... fear not for me... I took a 100°F increase in weather last week end. From -16 to 85-90 sweltering jungle heat.
Took on a 6-8 month gig in the Tropics of Micronesia. I miss shovelling all that snow...
FWIW, I took a hekuva cut in pay to try island life and complete my scuba cert.
Somehow I'll endure...............

John, you're killing me. But I do know a "lil" bit about the island life anyway, got a chance to spend 10 days between Oahu and Maui just before Christmas. Ah yes, it's pretty tough dealing with the wind, sun, sand, and surf, but somebody's gotta do it right? Now I've gotta work on my scuba cert. too! Best regards, Allan

I went to the Canary Islands last year for a week and I didn't see a single canary.  So this year I'm off to the Virgin Islands.  Though, I must admit, the Canary Islands vacation wasn’t a total loss.  After a few drinks, I went to a restaurant that advertised “Eat whatever you want for $20”, so I ate 4 chair covers, 3 tropical fish and a placemat.

Scott,

Do you really think.... OH, NEVERMIND!!  YOU probably do!  :lol:

Believe it or not, I actually do think.  Just the other day I accidentally backed into someone else's parked car, so I got out and put a note under one of the windshield wiper blades that said: I just accidentally backed into your car.  Several people saw me do it.  They think I’m leaving my name and my phone number.  Well, I’m not.
