FILLET TEST IN CONSUMABLE QUALIFICATION AS PER AWS A5.1

Hi every body

I want to preparing sample on qualification of E7016, According to table 4 of AWS A5.1.

1- For 3.2mm diameter all tests mentioned as NR. what's mean? testing is not required. how can get approval of my client?
2-When V & OH mentioned for fillet test it means that fillet test sample shall be prepared in both positions?

Not sure what you mean by 'qualification' of E7018. The testing regimes in the AWS/SFA standards are for 'classification' of weld materials.

we use electrode out of our client vendor list.
for getting approval of our client, we are going to take qualification test

Keep in mind that the requirements of the A/SFA specifications ARE NOT filler metal 'qualification' requirements. They are simply requirements in order to label the filler metals with the specification identification.
