At table QW-451.1, deposit weld metal thickness that I qualified include the deposit of root and cap reinforcement or without it. And at what the para. Supporting the answer.

Reinforcement is not included.

Thanks a lot, is there any para. at ASME IX Support me for that ?
If the As Run Sheet (Monitoring Sheet) not mention the root and cap height , what is the Thickness to be reduced for root and cap?
Example :
I have PQR Support GTAW and SMAW, Base Metal Thickness 18 mm, but At (as run sheet and PQR) GTAW deposit weld metal 5 mm and SMAW  deposit weld metal 18 mm (not mention root and cap height). what is the Thickness of deposit weld metal to be qualified for each process?

It is "fundamental" knowledge. The codes are not written for the novice. There is an assumption on the part of the code that the user has a fundamental understanding of welding technology and terminology.

If the thickness of the base metal is 18 mm, that is the maximum thickness of the total weld deposit. You deposited 5 mm with GTAW and the balance of the thickness with SMAW. So, the min/max for GTAW is based on 5 mm, while the min./max for SMAW is based on the balance (13 mm).

Thanks you very much.
Another question,
I have a welder qualified for GMAW (100% Co2) and Electrode (ER70S-6), is that welder qualified for FCAW (100 Co2) and Electrode (E71T1) or require requalification ? The electrodes are the same F number

ASME Section IX does not differentiate between GMAW and FCAW when qualifying the welder. The essential variables for welder performance qualification can be found in Article III of Section IX.

Yes,you can use the same welder as long as he is qualified in other essential variables of welder performance qualification.
