Hi everyone,

As max. 5% Fe is need to be achieved in Inconel 625 weld overlays.

Cant this limit be relaxed to some more iron percentage by compromising corrosion resistance and reducing some equipment life.

As lots of technology, resources, special consumables are required to achieve this chemistry.

I have read some articles where there was mentioned about this limit. But further work is still pending in this direction.
