1/4 PLATE TRUCK IS A 04 DODGE
Nice job!! Cant wait to see the final result.
i understand what you are saying now and well it would be hard to frame it now cause generally you build the frame first and cut what needs to be cut out of it then set you deck and boxes the only way i can see it working and i dont know the depth of your bed would be to get some wide channel and cut it to fit under the bed following your ups and downs thats the best i can figure it would be a lil heavier but it's about you only option from what i can see dont forget to cross brace it as well
what are you talking about cross braceing
you'll need cross members on the frame of the bed
I got to work on me bed thursday afternoon and some yesterday. Don't get to work on it alot.Im working singlehand puting in alot of hours.going to be long prosses.HERE ARE SOME PICS FOME YESTERDAY AND THURSDAY.
You should have got some the sheet metal bent at sheetmetal shop
I know that would of saved me some time on the welding and cuting
And a whole lot of grinding, but Hey I just finished my first custom bed for my truck and I'm already thinking of selling it and doin another one because I want to change some things and do some things different.
