I purchased a similar setup from Northern Hydraulics (I think that's the name, I'll have to go look). I have the jumper hookup permanently to the car battery and I have short leads to a 3000 watt inverter that can be used to power my test instruments (MT and UT) or the house as a standby electrical power supply. It won't power the entire house, but it is sufficient to run the refrigerator, furnace, computer (with APU to take care of any surges), and of course the TV for the grand kids.
