What code, if any, would the repair and manufacturing of radiators fall under? Lets just say I was going to take the tops and bottoms of old radiators that have bad cores, and weld them to new cores.
not sure of the code but they are'nt welded they are brazed on i know that much from working in a rad shop when i was in high school dont sweat the small stuff just do it
Lawrence, Not sure what machines they will use, I am still in the early stages of this. I will sure keep this in mind if asked to recommend. Thanks for the input.
only aluminum rads i mesed with were when i was doing body repairs and they had plastic tanks on them we just replaced i was told by my radiator guy here in town the plastic tanks can be replaced but it's a pain in the a$$ i looked at 1 real close once and it looks like it would be
The newer MIG pulsing stuff they got out now will do just as nice as TIG & look amazing. I was surprised to see it for myself, but it blew me away how nice & perfect that aluminum looked with GMAW-P. All to code as well. These guys were welding custom trailers. S.W.
