Hi all...I am trying to weld SS 304 using 98Ar-2CO2 and Fronius 2700 power source. Spool is 308. I tried a lot to set the pulse parameters, but not able to get a desired quality of weld. I searched the whole manual as well as internet to get parameters, but failed again. Can anyone suggest me the best parameters for this kind of welding in the thickness range of 1.5 mm with 1.5 mm sheet, fillet welds? Any literature to learn in depth about pulsing also would be a great help later on.

Thanks.

Jay,

I've already sent you a bunch of appropriate literature (as pdf) by using your email-address given.

Are you having a size-limit with your email-inbox?

Regards,
Stephan

Hi jay , I have a couple of the same machines and have found on thin material its sometimes best to turn off pulse and go to regular short arc.
Makes for an expensive short arc welder though.  :)

get a remote box and set it to adapter pulse no parameters necessary. Set trim and go--
