In addition to what Cactus has posted a bit of hopefully helpful advice.
Always try and weld as hot as your ability allows (within the range of the WPS).
If the WPS lists 100 - 130 amps start off at 120 amps.
If you are getting undercut or you are struggling to control your puddle then back off a little bit with the amps.
If you have no undercut and weld is flowing good then bump your amps up a little bit more.
It is all about finding the optimum range for your ability - that is why WPSs have a range, it is to cater for different welders. Some weld slow and cold, some weld hot and fast but they have all found the speed and heat they feel most comfortable with.
