Have they solved the arc-rectification problem found on the square wave 175 and 275 models when > 25% helium was used as a shielding gas? The current square wave, and precision tig 275 manual shows this still to be a problem.
OK, I now have been able to review the tig 185 as well. It also has the
arc rectification problem with > 25% He. See manual pages E-4,E-5.
So it appears this is a common problem on all of the Lincoln Tig machines. As far as I've heard from Synchro owners, this has never been a problem.
