I was behind a Chinese fella at the bank a couple of weeks ago who was all pissed off about the exchange rate of Chinese to American money. When he asked the banker about it he answered "Fluctuations." The Chinese guy screamed "Fluck you white guys too!" and left. . . . :eek:

Yeah, and back then, I was offered "favors" to sign off a structure in Ventura, CA.
Got a FAST lesson on ethics and the "real world". I found out that NOT being a Team Player gets you fired.
BTW, them FA/18's are sure some LOUD puppies when they kick on the afterburners. Friend of mine's quarters was at the end of flight line in Bagram, Afghannyland. When they would take off it would blow the door open! Then 5 seconds later another one...

Yes! I lived on an airbase for a few years.

Our shop was right next to the test cell (unbaffeled and uninsulated).

Those twin GE's got da thrust.

Although, and I don't understand exactly why, the fastest vertical climb I've ever wittnessed was an Airforce F-111

Edit: I was an E2 back then.... No favors... Just orders and hot sun.
