If I made qualification on plates in two position 2G and 3G on 30 mm thickness of plates CJP, the range of qualification for plate is  3 to unlimited but what is the range for pipes in that case ? and where I can read that information in d1.1 ?

I think you can find this information in table 4.10 someone correct me if i am wrong.

You will find the data for pipe in Clause 9

Be sure you are reviewing the correct infomation when you get to the tables.  You did not mention if your question relates to Procedure qualification or Performance qualification.   The data may be difference for each.

If you are asking about the thickness ranges(since you mentioned 3mm to unlimited, I'm assuming you are), then look at AWS D1.1:2015, Table 4.11 "edit.." for Welder Qualification(as Lawrence mentioned watch the data)
(1) Test on plate
Groove / 25mm or over ---> Qualified Dimensions / Nominal Plate, Pipe, or Tube Thickness Qualified / 3mm to Unlimited and Note d: Also Qualifies for welding any fillet or PJP weld size on any thickness of plate, pipe or tubing.

(1) Tests on Plate
25mm and over ---> Nominal Plate, Pipe or Tube Thickness Qualified / 3mm to Unlimited
and Notes c,d
Note c For square groove welds that are qualified without backgouging, the maximum thickness qualified shall be limited to the test thickness
Note d CJP groove weld qualification on any thickness shall qualify any size of fillet or PJP groove weld for any thickness (see 4.11.3)

I knew he mentioned the thickness for a specific reason here I was thinking he was asking about the ranges in positions for tubular sections.

I am thinking he is talking about the thicknesses. After I saw y'all post I reread the original post and yes it does appear as if he is asking about the thickness.

It doesn't concern for welders qualification but for procedure qualification. I am so sorry if I didn't precise correctly what I wanted to know.
We did WPQR for plates but I am curious, do we also can weld pipe.

For example in 15614 if you did qualification on plates you can weld pipe but over 500 mm of diamater, it is the same in AWS D1.1 ?

I think this will help you out,

In table 4.1 it states that you can weld for pipe if the OD is 600mm or higher.

I think this is the answer to your question.
