Using AWS B2.1-1-209:2019 Carbon Steel 1/8" thru 1 1/2" thk, ER70S-2 and E7018, Primarily Pipe Applications.

The Demonstration Test was performed on plate, single-sided groove design with no backing or backgouging in the horizontal position, following all the requirements of the SWPS.

Question:  May the Welder Performance Qualification Test be performed on pipe in the 6G position?
