I am trying to find out who makes this welder. It says KRJA-250 on it and in top right corner of the tag on front it says AWL-250. I have searched high and low online.
I am wanting to wire it up at my house but the local electrician who is going to do the work has no clue about it since everything is in Japanese.
I can also give any other information off the front if needed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is the bablefish translator.  It has a Japanese-English option.
Google with "enter japanese characters" will get a lot of hits on how to type Japanese into an American computer.
You have a bunch of work to do but if you do it you will be able to translate most of the stuff you find written on the machine.
Might be easier to find a Japanese electrician.
Good luck
Bill

Can You post  a picture that shows the specification part of the plate well enough to read it?

The bottom of the metal tag [below where Your new pictures show] is the specification part of the tag. Wht You really need to know is the voltage and amperage. Did You put that range cord on it ? Or was it there from the former owner. Are there taps where the cord hooks up for other voltages? That cord looks like 50Amp 230 volt, but they COULD have used it for other voltages.
