I am looking for standard data of how much metal is required to weld a joint of particular thickness for a particular length for different kind of joints for different kind of welding procedures. Where to find this information?

Here is a program that can compare two different processes provided you know the process variables such as deposition rate, deposition efficiency, production factor, cost per lb etc..
