hippy is 7010(yellowish-brown), used for mainly smaller diameter pipe, (here in Canada anyways), typically the 8010 comes out when over 12" dia. in my experience anyways.
"Hippie" is E7010-G HYP. Works really great on .375 X52 pipe. On X60 can cause UC from 2-4 o'clock. But UC can run from top to bottom if ran too hot or on thin pipe (.188, .152). Since 70+ came out few contractor use it because of some of the welding problems with HYP. But if a contractor gets a deal on HYP and they are welding some X60 or X65 they may pick up a few 100 pounds and let X-Ray sort it out.
Or they dont know about the issues with HYP on X60 or espically X65 pipe. If you are welding on X65, keep the heat and travel speed down.
