Don't mess with Turkish Porcupines.
For those not up on your metrics, the longest one is about 16" OAL and the one by the ruler is 3/8" in diameter!
There's a bunch of these quills on the side of a road in the pipeline terminal compound.
One fellow says they are the size of a sheep.

::Makes mental note to leave those alone while visiting Turkey::

If someone could get a porcupine and a sheep to mate, I don't know what it would be called, but it could knit it's own sweaters.  I know, I know..... Stop it.  You're quilling me.

What did we ever do during your absence??  ... Peace, Peace, sweet peace.

Have a Great Day,  Brent

Peace? What peace?? While lying in bed last night, my wife asked me what I most wanted to do with her body.  I guess "identify it" wasn't the right answer.

No worries Scott, "sacrifice it" wouldn't have been the right answer either. Been there, done that, the results aren't pretty. Best regards, Allan
