Hello Everyone
I would like to ask you regarding the structure reinforcing pad it is required or not? And the reinforcing pad must be with vent hole and which dimension?!

Need a ton more information, i.e. what code, (AWS D1.1, D1.5 or ?) Give some detail about what size beam or structural component you are building?

it is a IPN 300 for a monorail and the total lenght is 30 meter so we have 2 splices in Z format

Need more info. Do you have pictures or drawings? Is this in the US?
