Its a little confusing.  Hit response, then post.  After posting, hit "Attach" upload instructions will follow.  After uploading go back to Forum.

Thats the ticket! I am interested in the results of the survey and what the data will collect. This may be something AWS would want to expand on.

Come on everyone, its not so hard to fill-out. Was hoping for 50, but if you can help me to get to 30 I'll use that. I know there's got to be 30 in here. Thanks.

Here is mine. I think the main reason for a lack of crafts people in general is that the trades is not given to High School level kids as a viable option. The job I'm on right now a pipe welder has the potential to make $75000 to a $100.000 a year.  Working 50 to 60 hours a week. I don't think the High School population for the most part knows that.  The push is to go to college. A civil engineer right out of college on the average makes about $54.000 to $60.000 per year.

Thanks
Jim Hughes

Here ya go.
Congrats on getting the degree!
I agree with Jim by the way.  My husband is principal of a high school for "alternative" youths out in the country and there is nothing for them at a regular high school.  At lot of them get involoved in drugs, knocked up, or drop out because they cant do the "normal" track from high school to college and nothing else is offered to them.  In Germany, they try to figure out what a kid would be good at in about middle school and have amazing technical schools with top of the line equipment (we are talking laser welding, cutting, engraving, manual and CNC machining, water jet, robotics, automotive, and good ol fashioned welding) that the factories recruit from directly.  These kids were way happier and well adjusted than the kids that we force through our crushing system of homogenity (I dont actually think thats a word) that anything short of college is failure.
Just my rant...

I know it maybe cheating but I keep adding these little posts so it will get thrown back to the top in hopes of getting nine more surveys. It's been working, so here I go again.
