SECTION NEWS OKLAHOMA CITY January 30 Activity: The Section held its annual bowling tournament at Penn 44 Lanes in Oklahoma City, Okla. Dan Andrews chalked up the highest individual score to earn the high-bowler trophy. The first-place team included Dan Andrews, Dakota Andrews, Dusty Andrews, and Rick Lawson. Earning second place were William Destea, Michael Wellner, Marvin Gowdy, and Mike Carothers. Third place trophies were presented to Rafael Castillo, Memo Hernandez, Cary Reeves, and Kevin Reed. Lastplace honors were shared by Jeremy Sanderson, Fabio Rodriguez, Kenny Davis, and J. D. Marshall. OZARK January 22 Activity: The Section members and guests toured Custom Powder Systems in Springfield, Mo., to study its manufacturing procedures. Jim Geotz received the Private Sector Instructor Award. Geotz teaches welding classes at Paul Mueller Company and at Ozark Technical Community College.
