InverterBased Power Source Boosts Productivity The electronically controlled Aristo ® Mig 4004i Pulse is a lightweight, multiprocess welding power source that can be used for GMAW, pulsed GMAW, SMAW, or GTAW. Designed for high productivity and quality welding applications, the pulse function makes it suitable for advanced, spatter free welding in aluminum and stainless steel. The inverter-based power source delivers a welding current of 300 A and voltage of 32 V at a 100% duty cycle. At a 60% duty cycle, it provides 400 A and 36 V. Typical applications include the manufacture of trucks, buses, trailers, off-highway equipment, trains and railway rolling stock, as well as wind turbine towers, structural steelwork, shipbuilding/ offshore, and general industrial fabrication.
